The Median Sale Price of single-family homes in the Austin metro area for the quarter ending March 2022 was $499,990, an increase of a whopping 28.9% over the quarter ending March 2021. This also represents an increase of 9.2% over the previous quarter ending December 2021.

The Median Sale Price per SqFt of single-family homes for the quarter ending March 2022 was around $250, a change of 29% over March 2021.

The inventory of homes for sale at the end of March 2022 was around 9,850, an increase of 6.4% over the previous quarter ending in December 2021. Compared to the same time last year, the inventory at the end of March 2021 was 8,345.

A total of 11,810 properties were listed for sale in the quarter ending March 2022, an increase of 5.6% over the previous quarter. Compared to the same time last year, we had 9,255 new listings in the first quarter of 2021.
