Among the 30 metro areas in the U.S., in September 2024, the Seattle metro area saw the highest year-over-year (YoY) percentage increase in sales volume, with a 4.9% rise, reaching 3,332 houses sold. The San Diego metro area followed with a 3.3% increase and a sales volume of 1,424. The Denver metro area experienced a 1.2% YoY growth, with 4,410 houses sold. The Portland metro area had a slight increase of 1.1%, with 3,408 houses, while the Houston metro area saw a marginal decline of 0.2%, despite recording 11,147 houses sold.
