In September 2024, among the top 30 U.S. metro areas, those with significant year-over-year percentage increases in inventory for sale included the San Diego metro area, which saw the largest rise at 47.6%, followed by the Atlanta metro area with a 41.7% increase. The Miami metro area experienced a 38.9% gain, while the Charlotte metro area posted a 37.5% increase. Rounding out the top five, the Los Angeles metro area saw a 35.9% rise.
