The median sale price of single-family homes sold in the Phoenix metro area was $510,000 for the period from March to May 2022, up by 27% year-over-year.
The number of single-family homes sold in May 2022 was 5,915, a drop of 36% over May 2021.
The inventory for sale was 13,301 by the end of May 2022, an increase of 17% over last year when 11,343 homes were for sale at the end of May 2021.
Homes sold during the period from March to May 2022 had the median sale price per sqft of $280, an increase of 30% when compared to the median sale price per sqft for the homes sold during the same period last year.
