The median sale price of single-family homes sold in the Dallas metro area was $415,000 for the period from March to May 2022, up by 22% year-over-year.

The median sale price per sqft rose 26% year-over-year to $200 for the homes sold during the period from March to May 2022.

In May 2022, 12,970 homes were sold in the Dallas metro area, down from 13,980 last year in May 2021 by 7%.

The inventory for sale was 28,950 by the end of May 2022, an increase of 29% over last year when 22,390 homes were for sale at the end of May 2021.
