The San Diego Metro Area experienced a decline of 2.7%, with 1,651 houses sold. The Boston Metro Area saw a 4.1% drop in sales, totaling 1,993 transactions. The Phoenix Metro Area recorded a 4.7% decrease, with 5,123 homes sold. Rounding out the group, the Charlotte Metro Area experienced the steepest decline among the five, with a 6.2% drop, bringing sales down to 3,189 homes.
