Sales volume in the Chicago metro area saw a decrease of 24.3% in October 2023 compared to the same time last year, with 10,656 homes sold. Meanwhile, during the same timeframe, the Atlanta metro area experienced the largest decline of 33.2% in home sales for single-family homes among the top 15 metro areas when compared to the same time a year ago.
