From August to October 2024, among the top 30 U.S. metro areas, the San Diego metro area stood out with a leading 23.7% increase in year-over-year changes in new listings, totaling 6,000 homes. The Houston metro area followed closely with a 20.7% growth, adding 50,400 new listings to the market. Las Vegas metro area recorded a 19.0% rise in YoY changes in new listings, reaching 8,630 listings, while the Riverside metro area saw a 17.1% increase, with 15,950 homes. The Denver metro area also showed strong growth, with a 15.4% rise and 17,320 new listings.
