The Median Sale Price of single-family homes in the New York metro area was $565,000 in the quarter ending March 2022, a healthy increase of 15% over the quarter ending March 2021.

The Median Sale Price per sqft of single-family homes in the area was $265 for the quarter ending March 2022, a change of 4.5% over the same period the previous year.

The inventory of single-family homes for sale in New York metro area was 31,550, a decline of 14% from December 2021. The volume of Pending properties also declined by 5.6% over the same period.

However, there were 24,700 single-family homes listed in the quarter ending March 2022 in the metro area, an increase of 14% over the previous quarter.
