The Denver metro area followed with a 13.6% rise and 4,151 sales, while the Phoenix metro area experienced a 12.7% growth with 3,786 houses sold. The Portland metro area recorded a 10.1% increase with sales of 2,900 houses, and the San Diego metro area saw a 4.5% rise with 1,274 sales.
