From July to September 2024, San Diego metro area topped the list of year-over-year changes in new listings among the top 30 U.S. metro areas, with a notable 24% increase and 6,220 homes added. Close behind, the Las Vegas metro area posted a 19.2% rise, adding 8,680 new listings to the market. Los Angeles and Charlotte metro areas also experienced gains of 15.9% and 14.4%, respectively. Meanwhile, the Atlanta metro area saw a 14.1% increase, reaching 56,770 listings.
