During the period from February to April 2024, among the top 15 metro areas, Austin saw the highest YoY percentage change in new listings count at 25.1% compared to the same period last year, with a total of 17,380 new listings. In contrast, New York showed the lowest YoY percentage change at 0.6%, indicating a minimal increase with 28,700 new listings. However, Jacksonville and Miami experienced significant increases of 23.2% and 21.7%, respectively. Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Denver followed closely with slightly lower increases ranging from 16.3% to 14.5%. Chicago and Dallas displayed modest increases at 9.82% and 9.16%, whereas Washington and Boston witnessed smaller increases at 8.0% and 6.1%, respectively. Philadelphia experienced a minimal increase of 3.8%, reporting 14,180 new listings.
