Inventory levels continued to expand across key U.S. housing markets in November 2025, with several major metros recording notable year-over-year increases in active listings.The Cincinnati metro area led the month with a 39.4% year-over-year increase, bringing total homes for sale to approximately 8,839 listings. Washington, DC followed with a 24.9% rise, pushing inventory to around 9,973 homes.Houston metro area maintained elevated supply levels with a 22.3% annual increase, totaling nearly 55,675 active listings, while Denver metro area recorded a 21.2% gain, reaching about 12,369 homes for sale. Charlotte metro area rounded out the top markets with a 21.0% year-over-year increase, bringing its inventory to approximately 8,990 listings.
